Since June 2007 we have been using a Canon XTi Digital Rebel camera with a Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM zoom lens. Previous to June 2007 we used a Canon Powershot S30 3 megapixel point-and-shoot style digital camera. The Callaway Gardens, Carolina, Georgia, Bennett Spring State Park, Cook Forest State Park galleries were all shot with the Canon Powershot S30 camera.
Every photograph requires some degree of photo-editing to maximize image quality. For photo-editing we rely upon Adobe software. Prior to 2007 we used the powerful, yet affordable, Adobe Photoshop Elements program. Now we rely on the full version of Adobe Photoshop; a part of the Adobe Creative Suite package of software.
To put it all together in the gallery form we make use of the fantastic JAlbum software. JAlbum is available as a free download (http://jalbum.net/). JAlbum simplifies and automates the otherwise tedious task of making a web photo gallery.
